Are you aware of global warming? In that case, you can Go Code.

Go Code? Yes. Save energy and help the Earth by doing stuff on line, all while saving a little time for yourself. Here are some solutions for your daily life offered by your very own PSD to HTML service:

1. Replace your small business to Magento or Shopify- No more wake ups early, with these guys your store will be open 24/7 and anyone can access it. You can look how everything is going from your house or anywhere you are at all times. PSD to Magento gives you the opportunity for a more stable e-commerce business. But if you want to transfer your local store to an e-commerce PSD to Shopify will be best for you, with simple management and products display is a great way to get started.

2. Save time with HTML to CSS- By using sprites on your HTML to CSS conversion, you will automatically lower the loading time on your site. Loading only one image instead of several makes the browser work faster and gets rid of those pesky blinks in between normal and hover states, for example.

3. Be sure to use the right PSD to CMS- We are talking about Going Code which also means going better. Each CMS has different functions. There are lots of forums or articles that can help you choose which CMS will work best for you; or you can ask your outsourced PSD to HTML or web designer what they think will be the best option for you.

4. Why wait until a Publishing House is interested in your work? No more need of paper. WordPress shows to the world what you are made of in a simple and elegant way with PSD to WordPress. It offers a design unity and thousands of uploads; much better than a book if what you want is acknowledgment and not just money.

5. Replace all of those old gadgets like Internet Explorer 6 that are a waste of your personal energy. There are more user-friendly technologies out there ready to rock your world with kick-ass loading time and excellent search features.

6. Don’t let new ways of Going Code pass you by- There will always be new updates on CMS’s or programming languages, and it’s useful to at least know a bit about them. That way bad designers or developers can’t trick you.

7. Pixel Perfect- Only the very best are capable of an awesome pixel perfect final project. This helps the World Wide Web be free of code disorders that are murder against all that’s sacred in coding and design.

8. Do not use unnecessary tools- It is true: Flash is awesome, but in its own field. HTML5 has come to save the day for unchangeable websites and useless buttons.

9. Recycle does not mean copy- You can recycle old ideas, projects or pictures but please be original with your work. Use all these energy savings to get your creativity going.

10. With all this time you’ve saved, you can go ahead and have some quality time for yourself or with your family and friends. If they don’t have time, just ask them to Go Code.

Here are the most common myths you are going to find or people might tell you about:

Here are the most common myths you are going to find or people might tell you about:

PSD to HTML5

Myth Number 1: HTML is a Programming Language

Hyper Text Markup Language is a formatting language and nothing more. It enables the web page designer to display text in different ways by using formatting tags. Generally, a programming language allows you to describe some sort of process of doing something, whereas HTML is a way of adding context and structure to text.

Myth Number 2: Text cannot be displayed vertically on tables

This particular myth evaporated because of Internet Explorer. Microsoft Internet Explorer has, and has had for quite a long time, its own style properties. The vertical-align property may be used to alter the vertical positioning of an inline element, relative to its parent element or to the element’s line.

Myth Number 3: Support audio recording from your microphone

HTML5 cannot support this just yet. Remember never the less that is not recommended to have audio in your sites. Unless of course you are a musician but be sure the viewer can choose to hear it.

PSD to WordPress

Myth Number 1: You can use it for everything

WordPress is great but it’s not the best tool if you want different kinds of designs on it. Remember it was first designed to function as a blog so there aren’t a lot of varieties to play with it.

Myth Number 2: It can support different kinds of services

You cannot have a live chat, a forum, a blog and your original page on it because it would explode! Not really, but that is just too much for our friend who is not designed for that amount of information.

Myth Number 3: All sites are WordPress friendly

This not only has caused nightmares, but some of our coders are in therapy. One of those is Flash. We have been saying how difficult it is to work with entire sites designed with Flash, since not only are they useless for the viewer (they just get tired of waiting) but you must be careful with the flash designer or they might trick you.

PSD to Magento

Myth Number 1: Change your Magento Base URL to a URL that does not point to your Magento root installation

When your store’s base URL is “yourstore.com” but “www.yourstore.com” is the URL that’s licensed for Ultimento. Technically these are 2 different URLs so you’d want to make sure to provide the correct URL.

For example if you have Magento installed in your domain root folder at “yourstore.com”, you can’t simply put “http://yourstore.com/magento/” in the Base URL field in the Magento admin. But if “www.yourstore.com” also points to your root folder, then you can safely change the Base URL in your Magento admin to “http://www.yourstore.com/”.

PSD to Shopify

Myth Number 1: It is the same as Magento

Shopify is not the same as Magento. Magento was design for Big Shops and Shopify works for small bussiness. You cannot have a lot of different products displays or pictures or videos. It does has different adjustments to your necessities but not as specialized as Magento.

Myth Number 2: It works with lots of languages

Actually Shopify has its own language. Liquid is the template language used. It is written in line with your theme’s HTML and lets you display your shop’s content however you see fit.

Myth Number 3: It has a custom Check Out

The big customization you can do is change the colors and add your logo but if you want to change the information or put it on the top then this is not the CMS for you.

Which myths have you heard of?

Welcome back! We sure hope these articles inspire you as much as they did with us. This time we have a little push up for small businesses, a few HTML to CSS tips, an iPhone4 controversy and some desktop fun. Now prepare your socks to be knocked off!

“On first place we have: Shopify Helps Online Entrepreneurs “Build-a-Business” By Julia L. Rogers

Build-a-Business is back! Shopify wants to give a small push up to any small business that want to become the very best. The competition is for more than $500,000 in prizes, expert help and moral support, starts on May 1st through December 31st, 2011. Great opportunity if you have a good product but experience trouble selling it. Do not let this opportunity pass you by and get started with your PSD to Shopify project!

On second place we have: How to Create CSS3 Paper Curls Without Images by Craig Buckler

This tutorial is about creating a paper curl effect to make your HTML to CSS unique and easier. Paper curls have been popular for a few years now. The viewer sees a natural-looking slightly curved box but, in reality, it’s an optical illusion created by a shadow at the bottom of the element. Don’t you love cognitive process?

It also talks about the benefits CSS3 provides such as:

1. The effect can be applied to elements of any size.

2. The code is reusable and uses far fewer bytes than an image-based shadow.

On third place we have: Fun With Pulsing Background Colors in CSS3 by Joshua Johnson

More HTML to CSS wonders! Even though CSS keyframe animations currently have very limited browser support, they’re still quite interesting to learn about and experiment with. With a simple example of web page that leverages Webkit keyframe animations to gently shift the background color on a never ending loop you can choose between a live demo and a normal writing tutorial.

What the White iPhone 4 Says About the iPhone 5 by Matt Buchanan

Why all the fuss about this? It is more of a fashion release than an improvement of technology and some said it’s enough of a fatty difference between “Black and White” that the white iPhone 4 wouldn’t fit into an Incase slider case designed for the iPhone 4. We do understand is not as simple as painting it, but we are on the XXI century and is Apple we are talking about.

They could always make a different Incase slider but where is the exclusivity of iPhone4 then? Will iPhone5 have the same process?

One fifth place we have: Desktop Wallpaper Calendar: May 2011

Time for some desktop creativity! This post features 30 free desktop wallpapers created by artists across the globe for May 2011. Both versions with a calendar and without a calendar can be downloaded for free. Let one of these wallpapers bring life to your computer or give you the inspiration to make your own!

Those have been the winners for this week; hope you give PSD to Shopify a try and win that competition.

PSD to CMS is not an easy choice, that is why here is a list of reasons why choosing the right one can help you choose the best content management system for your needs.

PSD to CMS is not an easy choice, that is why here is a list of reasons why choosing the right one can help you choose the best content management system for your needs.

First of all, Content Management Systems (CMS) are a collection of procedures used to manage workflow in a collaborative environment. These procedures can be manual or computer-based and are designed to do the following:

Allow for a large number of people to contribute and share stored data

Control access to data, based on user roles (defining which information users or user groups can view, edit, publish, etc.)

Aid in easy storage and retrieval of data

Reduce repetitive duplicate input

Improve the ease of report writing

Improve communication between users

Why Choose PSD to WordPress?

Unlike remote-hosted scripts such as Blogger and LiveJournal, you host WordPress on your own server. Another benefit is that there are not a million files to change mode nor are there dozens of templates to edit just to get your HTML to WordPress set up and looking the way you want. Waiting for pages to rebuild is a thing of the past because template changes are made in scant seconds.

WordPress is built following W3C standards for XHTML and CSS, ensuring that your site is more easily rendered across standards-compliant browsers. Do not use it as an e-Commerce because it won’t work as you want it.

Why Choose PSD to Magento?

For companies who are serious about their online eCommerce the choice has become much easier. The Magento platform is a proven system that continues to evolve with each extension developed and with each system upgrade.

One of Magento’s key selling points is its ease of use for both the seller and the customer. Some key features include:

Marketing Promotions and Tools (coupons, featured items, gift cards & more)

Analytics and Reporting

Site Management

Advanced Shipping

For customers the benefits include:

Navigation for Filtering of Products in Categories

Product Reviews

One-page Checkout Capability

Extensive Shipping Options

Why Choose PSD to Drupal?

Drupal’s amazing flexibility means that it is just as easy to create a blog, user forum, ecommerce site, or a corporate site using the same framework. Drupal adheres to all web standards and uses modern techniques for XHTML, HTML to CSS, and JavaScript. You can do with it what you want with PSD to HTML5, and it doesn’t cost anything whether you have one or a thousand servers.

Why Choose PSD to Shopify?

Shopify is a slick system and their template engine is awesome and easy to work with. It does have a limitation of how many product variations you can have. It will only list up to 100 variations per product and no more than 3 options (ex: color, size, material). So for example if you have a t-shirt in 4 sizes and 3 colors, it can handle that just fine. But if you are selling a duvet cover in 5 sizes, 10 colors and 3 different cloth types, that would be a problem.

If you have a lot of traffic to your store, then you’ll want the higher cost plan, but if your traffic is lower you can pay less. In other words, with Shopify you really have the opportunity to allow your sales to pay for your shopping cart.

Why Choose PSD to Joomla?

By choosing an off-the-shelf industry-standard solution like Joomla, you can choose from thousands of web-designers familiar with this platform rather than locking yourself in to a custom built solution where the only person who understands it is the person who built it.

Other benefits

Versatile and customizable

Free Open Source Software

Wide range of extensions (see below)

Easy to use

Large developer & user community

Those are just the top of the iceberg, remember to choose wisely and always investigate first.

By hand coding your sites, it is for sure any browser will read it, what gives you more traffic and more opportunities you cannot even imagine. You can make any changes you like without re-coding the entire site and administrating easy with all those options the editors have, for example converting PSD to Drupal has a very manage system for the clients but at the time of coding is complicated so you better find an expert to help you with it.

What are the benefits of a handmade code? You might be asking yourself.

First of all they are done by qualify HTML coders who know everything there is to know about PSD to HTML/CSS conversion. With that done, HTML is the most widely accepted language for web design; it is also easily recognized and interpreted by the popular web browsers.

There are some automated code makers such as:

1) Dreamweaver- a web development application originally created by Macromedia, now developed by Adobe Systems, it is available for both Mac and Windows operating systems and recent versions have incorporated support for web technologies such as CSS, JavaScript, to name a few.

It is supported by a large community of extension developers (isn’t it amazing how many communities are out there? We HTML coders sure are very social people!) who make extensions available for most web development tasks from simple rollover effects to full-featured shopping carts, but not as complete as a PSD to Magento or PSD to Shopify.

Like any other HTML editors, it edits files locally, and then uploads them to the remote web server using FTP, SFTP, or WebDAV. But logical coding creates unnecessary tags and a lot of garbage some other complications with this software are:

Without an educator’s discount, the program can cost up to $400. Many other programs are less expensive or free, so be careful of that.

Someone without any editing experience could be confused by the many options available in the editor.

The toolbar and properties window also might provide too many options for a novice web designer.

The tutorials seemed to have very basic information and some of the more complicated topics without teaching many of the helpful tools offered in Dreamweaver.

The tutorials and the Help Viewer did not always provide the “big picture” for all options available.

The overblown code

The complicated UI (user interface)

Its support and implementation for layers and CSS positioning is still somewhat awry and in need of tuning.

And the list could keep going, but Dreamweaver is not the only editor out there:

2) FrontPage is a little lame if you read the generated output source code, you might understand why FrontPage is not a good choice. It will generate codes that only IE users could see (let’s get IE6 to 1%). but once you have created the site you cannot move it on to any other server unless you start again coding all the pages of your site. The main feature of this software is that it helps you creating small website without any knowledge to HTML coding.

3) Just about all of the WYSIWYG editors produce poor quality HTML. What’s more, they encourage the common disbelieve that building a web site with HTML is just like laying out a page for a magazine using Scribus or Pagemaker or Quark Xpress.

What we are trying to say is if you want totally kick ass web site you should use handmade codes, it would surely make you and your viewers life easy and can updated constantly with completely awesome new stuff.
